Lan honek azken lau urteetan Abiadura Handiko Trenaren (AHT) eraikuntza lanen inguruan, nire gertuko periferian zehar ibiltzera eraman nau, Euskal Autonomi Erkidegoko (EAE) bailara menditsuetan.
Bertan, euskaldunontzako horren sinboliko eta identitarioak diren ingurune naturalaren hondatze eta galerak sortutako mina islatzen saiatu naiz batetik. Bestetik, horrelako garapen batek atzetik damaran begirada, sakoneko mundu ikuskera, non jatorriz hetereogeneoa eta kaotikoa den ingurune bat begirada geometriko, neurtu eta kalkulatu batez ordezkatzen den. Hori guztia inoiz iristen ez den balizko hitzemate baten izenean, baina zeinen eraginak orainean agerikoak, nabariak eta itzulezinak diren.
Hortik sortzen da NORAEZEAN.

For the last four years, this work took me around the construction areas of the Basque High Speed Train infrastructure, in my immediate periphery within the mountainous regions of the Basque Autonomous Community.
In it, I tried to reflect for one the pain for the deterioration and loss of something as identitary for us Basque people as our natural space, with its simbolic value and our undettachable relationship to it. For the other, the underlying vision, the world concept so to speak, of a development of this scale, where something hetereogenous and chaotic by nature gets replaced by a geometric, calculated and controlled vision. All of this aimed towards a promise that seems to never arrive, but whose effects in the present are evident, palpable and irreversible.
That's the origin of NORAEZEAN.
